2007-'08 MDCVSA Sanctioned Tournaments
The following is an official list of ALL MDCVSA Sanctioned Tournaments for the 2007-'08 Seasonal Year (September 1, 2007 - August 31, 2008). Only teams that are affiliated members of the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA), and US Soccer Federation (USSF) may participate in sanctioned tournaments.

| The MDCVSA State Championships are the official championship competition of the Metro DC-Virginia Soccer Association, as described in Article XVI of the MDCVSA Bylaws. Competitions are held in three divisions: State Cup (open), Challenge Cup (over-30), & Veterans Cup (over-40). Details to be posted on the MDCVSA website at http://www.mdcvsa.org/statecup.html. |

Saturday & Sunday, August 9 & 10, 2008 Twelth Annual Neptune Soccer Classic MDCVSA Hampton Roads Soccer Complex, Virginia Beach |
| The Neptune Soccer Classic is an adult soccer tournament open to men's, women's, and coed teams. This year marks our 12th year of operations - the tournament will be held on Saturday and Sunday, August 9th and 10th , 2008. Recreational to Premier level competition will be offered as well as different age group brackets (for example, over-40). Games are all played at the Hampton Roads Soccer Complex, a beautiful 19 field soccer facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In general, rules follow USSF guidelines. See http://www.neptunesoccer.com for official tournament rules and more information. Up to 20 players may be rostered. Players must be 18 years or older as of the first day of the tournament to participate and must turn an appropriate age during the calendar year to participate in age bracket teams. Teams are guaranteed at least 3 games. Team entry fee varies with the date the tournament application is received (reduced fee for early registration).
